Job description
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of products, systems, and processes meet company standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong, analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining quality throughout the entire production process. All QA technicians are expected to work within the production environment to maintain a Positive Release quality system. The job will require that you work closely with other members of all departments. Must be flexible to work occasional weekend overtime., * Adhere to the company's GMP guidelines. Assist in coordination of activities to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
- Complete any quality checks and sampling within the ISO quality system and assist in the sorting of any failed product.
- QA technician will serve as the leader in conducting quality checks within Printing & Closures departments.
- Assist in sign-offs (Including "Pass to Run" inspections & Line Clearances") & hourly checks (every 1 hr, every 2 hrs, every 4 hrs - as required/requested) within these departments.
- Provide clerical support to the other quality technicians to ensure quality records are completed and maintained for every production lot.
- Organization of files, standards, etc.
- Escalation of issues (when necessary)
- Operate a Positive Release quality system, ensuring all checks are carried out to EPL quality standards in all areas. Conduct thorough inspections of material to ensure quality standards are being met.
- Support the other quality technicians performing quality checks within the Tubing department. Support may include: sharing workload (when necessary), providing feedback to assist in decision-making, and/or sharing knowledge and skills to help improve training.
- QA technician will be expected to perform all duties on shift to ensure timely completion of COAs & eCOAs to customers.
- Ensure the customer receives a quality product in accordance with the Quality standards agreed and act open any deviation from those standards.
- Monitor & share approved deviation requests with teams.
- Take responsibility for keeping the work area clean and tidy to improve housekeeping.
- Participate in any continuous improvement activities in order to increase efficiency.
- Liaise with other team members to ensure faults are communicated and acted upon.
- Performs other duties as requested by direct supervisor / management team., * Open to working in a team-oriented environment where responsibilities may shift depending on daily needs & team objectives.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Manufacturing experience and/or previous quality experience. (preferred)
- A good eye for quality and attention to detail will be expected.
- Strong team-work skills: verbal & written communication. Able to work well cross-functionally with all other departments.
- Use of measuring equipment. (preferred)
- Knowledge of formal quality systems. (preferred)
- Previous experience of decision-making (preferred)
- Computer skills: SAP, Microsoft Office (preferred), * High school or equivalent (Preferred), * Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
