Job description

NOTICE: JOB APPLICANTS LIMITED TO DC, MD, OR VA RESIDENTS. POSITION IS HYBRID. Please note that we are exclusively considering applicants residing in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia for all open positions., We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst, Infrastructure for our Information Technology - Infrastructure team! Summarily, the Systems Analyst will be expected to administer all software applications used by the Credit Union including analysis, design, reporting, implementation, and maintenance as applicable to the operations and activities within the department. Requirements

A day in the life Systems Analyst will include:

  • Acting as administrator for virtual server environment. Diagnosing, researching, and working with the VP of IT Infrastructure in resolving technical system emergencies. Liaising with vendor representatives when resolving application problems.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software components for IT systems including both servers and workstations.
  • Understanding and coordinating required updates, patches and software releases for all Windows operating systems, including Windows 10, 11 and Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
  • Monitoring backup performance to ensure integrity. Test and resolve any issues with backup processes.
  • Creating, modifying, and maintaining procedures applicable to system processes. Communicating changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to management.
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Maintaining an accurate and up to date list of all devices within the network.
