Job description
The Salesforce Admin II is responsible for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of Paylocity's Salesforce.com instance and related tools. The Salesforce Admin II must be able to work independently to continuously improve and enhance the Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback to drive innovation in support of the companies continued
growth. The role will support all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions. The Salesforce Admin II will be a liaison with Stakeholders at all levels, with an ability to translate technical information in a digestible manner for audience.

- Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products supports business requirements.
- Expert in Salesforce no code solutions such as Flows.
- Deep knowledge on Sharing and Visibility rules and Profile and Permission management.
- Execute Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to) Workflow, Process Builder, Assignment Rules, Approval Processes, fields, page layouts, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile admin, dashboards and reports.
- Data Management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation to facilitate data imports and du-duplication.
- Monitor Salesforce's Daily limits, storage and license limits.
- Perform Salesforce Health checks and necessary remediations.
- Knowledge of Change Management and Deployments processes via CI/CD tools.
- Daily managing and independent administration of support queues, user support, and priorities.
- Documenting processes, including defining user stories / requirements with defined success criteria.
- Create and maintain documentation on processes, application configuration, and training materials for users.
- Ability to communicate independently with associated program vendor's Support and Development Teams on system issues, new initiatives, and program updates.
- Install and maintain third party integrated applications including development, testing and implementation as needed.
- Stay current on new features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Salesforce certified Admin required and Salesforce advanced Admin certification strongly desired.
- 5+ years' experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems.
- Team player with the ability to multi-task and complete tasks independently.
- Comfortable with high volume, fast paced environment with the ability to identify solutions through critical thinking.
- Ability to conduct various system maintenance functions across tools.
Physical requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
- Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
