Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused part-time Campus Network Administrator to join our team. in Nashville This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth transition and ongoing support of our applications and systems, which include both cloud-based and locally installed solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with a particular emphasis on providing exceptional customer service and support. Position requres flexibility to work afternoons, evening, and Saturdays as needed. Total hours per week:24-32., + Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently. Ensure a positive experience for all users.

  • Application Support: Offer comprehensive support for both cloud-based and locally installed applications and systems. Assist users in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for both staff and students. Provide training and support to ensure a smooth transition to new applications and systems.

  • Technical Assistance: Support the shift from locally installed applications and systems to cloud-based solutions. Assist in the migration process and provide ongoing technical support. Provide remote hands assistance for networking equipment and server support. Respond promptly to Help Desk tickets, email requests, and phone calls for assistance.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration and support of cloud-based applications.

  • Effective Communication: Demonstrate effective communication skills to clearly convey technical information to users at all levels of technical proficiency.

  • Network Security: Monitor and maintain security alerts and protocols. Assist with campus access control and security tasks as assigned.

  • System Maintenance: Perform routine system updates and hardware checks as directed by the Corporate Network team.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incident reports for compliance and troubleshooting purposes.

  • Proactive Campus Monitoring: Identify and resolve potential issues before they affect users. Visiting and inspecting school operations in your assigned school group

  • Project and Program Support: Attend weekly group meetings to ensure alignment and progress tracking. Participate in construction meetings for your campus.

  • Special Projects and duties: Participate in campus and corporate duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical support role, with a focus on customer service and application support.

  • Strong understanding of cloud-based applications and systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to train and support users at all levels of technical proficiency.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

  • 1-2 years of network support or a similar role and responsibility.
