Job description

CSI Companies is seeking an experienced Hardware Support Analyst to provide fully remote support coordinating hardware requests, inventory management, and vendor engagement. This role supports distributed restaurant environments by ensuring hardware issues are resolved, equipment lifecycle processes are followed, and inventory records remain accurate.

You will oversee hardware requests, manage return and retirement processes, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure consistent communication across stakeholders.

This role is ideal for a Hardware Support Analyst who enjoys coordinating hardware workflows, working cross-functionally with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring operational accuracy across large, distributed environments., Position Type: Long-term W-2 Consultant based in the United States, * Participate in vendor and internal hardware review meetings to track issues, trends, and support needs

  • Provide ongoing status updates to internal technology and service teams
  • Coordinate ordering, delivery, and installation with vendors
  • Track requests and ensure accurate updates in ServiceNow
  • Validate completed work against invoices and follow up on service quality
  • Manage RMA process including collection, return, and replacement of hardware
  • Proactively recover unreturned equipment to avoid fees
  • Maintain accurate store-level hardware inventory
  • Reconcile inventory against monthly invoices and resolve discrepancies
  • Produce and distribute monthly inventory reporting
  • Review out-of-scope repairs against diagnostics and warranty coverage
  • Support hardware inquiries via help desk and shared mailboxes
  • Monitor quality of break/fix services and ensure timely resolution
  • Validate on-hand inventory through outreach (email/calls/surveys)
  • Maintain installation guides, user documentation, and ServiceNow templates
  • Ensure clear and timely communication with restaurants and operators
  • Oversee hardware retirement, storage, and disposal
  • Ensure proper recycling and documentation (e.g., data destruction certificates)

Requirements

Do you have experience in Data-driven problem-solving?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Work Authorization: Visas are acceptable (any EAD). Candidates must be eligible to work on W2 and must not require sponsorship for at least 6-12 months., * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hardware support, IT operations, or a related field

  • Experience coordinating hardware logistics, vendor support, and inventory management
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills; able to interpret data, identify trends, and drive resolution
  • Prior experience working in large, enterprise environments (hospitality or multi-location operations preferred)
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale, multi-site environments (hospitality, retail, or similar preferred)
