Job description
- Design, implement, and support highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex production incidents impacting service quality.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to streamline software delivery.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using industry-standard tools.
- Configure and manage monitoring, logging, and observability platforms to improve system health and performance.
- Provision and maintain containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
- Analyze system metrics and logs to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize reliability.
- Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance platform stability and customer experience.
- Provide reactive break-fix support while driving proactive reliability improvements.
- Communicate incident status, resolutions, and technical findings effectively to project teams and management.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Cloud Engineer to support mission-critical applications within the Financial Services, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in Wealth Management environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, observability, and platform reliability, along with a proactive approach to system performance and operational excellence., * 10+ years of overall IT experience, including significant experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong background in the Financial Services industry, preferably with Wealth Management experience.
- 8+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as:
- Terraform
- YAML
- Liquibase
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure services, including:
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Function Apps
- Azure Logic Apps
- 8+ years of experience with monitoring and observability platforms, including at least 3+ years using:
- Grafana
- Prometheus
- Kusto Query Language (KQL)
- Azure Application Insights
- 3+ years of experience provisioning and managing container platforms, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing or supporting cloud-native applications built with:
- React
- Spring Boot
- Java
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities.
- Experience working in modern DevOps and Agile environments.
