Network Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing enterprise network security solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments. This role requires deep expertise in Check Point security technologies, including Maestro hyperscale architecture, as well as experience securing cloud-based infrastructures in AWS and/or Azure., * Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network security infrastructure.

• Administer and support Check Point Firewalls in complex enterprise environments.
• Implement and manage Check Point Maestro hyperscale security solutions for high availability and scalability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize firewall performance, security policies, and network traffic flows.
• Manage and secure cloud-based firewall deployments within AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Perform security assessments, risk analysis, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Collaborate with network, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure architecture and operational excellence.
• Investigate security incidents and provide root cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, procedures, and network diagrams.
• Participate in change management, system upgrades, and security enhancement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices.

Do you have a valid AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification?, Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 7+ years of experience in network security engineering or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Check Point Next Generation Firewalls.
• Proven experience implementing and supporting Check Point Maestro environments.
• Experience managing firewall security controls in AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, NAT, and network protocols.
• Experience with security policy management, threat prevention, IPS, and access control technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Check Point certifications (CCSA, CCSE, CCSM, or equivalent).
• AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar cloud security certifications.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and security monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture and cloud-native security controls.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or mission-critical environments.
