Lead Cyber Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Cyber Security Architect to join our growing team in Valencia. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide cybersecurity architectures that protect critical business systems, networks, applications, and data.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to drive security initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise cybersecurity architecture and security frameworks.
• Lead the development of secure network, cloud, and application architectures.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into projects and operations.
• Develop security standards, policies, and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend security solutions.
• Oversee vulnerability management and security monitoring strategies.
• Support incident response planning and cybersecurity investigations.
• Mentor and guide security engineers and technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable security regulations and industry standards.

Do you have experience in Leadership?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant experience in security architecture.
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, identity and access management, and zero-trust principles.
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience performing risk assessments and threat modeling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple security initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, or equivalent.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, and security automation technologies.
