Job description

We are looking for an IT professional to join one of our 4 campuses, in The Hague area, to provide technical customer service support in the school. You will form part of a team of 12 colleagues, and you will deal with technical support on computers, mobile technology and other IT services.

The on-site support technician is responsible for providing a broad variety of IT related technical customer service support across the 3 campuses / 4 schools at the BSN.

Responsibilities: To provide on-site technical support to staff and students related to IT devices/systems and handle calls submitted by end users;

Keep an accurate record of performed activities and maintain the helpdesk system (ZenDesk);

Provision and manage a mix of Windows 11 and iOS devices, interactive smartboards and various classroom technologies;

Device troubleshooting and organising repair callouts;

Supporting both staff and students in their work and learning respectively;

Printer support, as well as logging issues with the printer supplier;

Escalate issues to the Senior IT Team;

Maintain an appropriate awareness of, and work effectively within, the policies and procedures of the BSN;

Handling of faulty mobile equipment and other IT hardware to external repair companies as required;

Work may be required in areas that aren't directly IT related, such as assistance on classroom setup and user training

Requirements

Do you have experience in iOS?, Fluent knowledge of English (written and spoken), Dutch is not required.

Enthusiastic, intelligent, flexible and a good team player, but also able to work autonomously;

Flexible approach to working methods and conditions;

Good customer service skills and attitude;

Attention to detail and competent at completing assigned tasks;

Behave professionally at all times and maintain a strong sense for confidentiality of information;

Prioritisation and ability to work on own initiative.

The following assets will be considered a plus: Knowledge of Mobile device management and Azure/0365 services (Azure AD, OneDrive, Onenote, Teams, SharePoint Online, Endpoint Manager);

Experience in an international multicultural setting;

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office365 and certifications.

Benefits & conditions

This will be a term-time contract, with annual leave to be taken during designated school closure periods;

Salary indication €3,103.83 - €3,867.93 gross per month, depending on experience, including 9% holiday allowance;

We have a 35 hour work week (08:00 - 16:00).
