Job description

As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for securing and governing Fagron's Microsoft-centric cloud and enterprise environments. You will operate at the intersection of security operations, cloud security governance, and security project delivery, working closely with the SOC, IT, Architecture, and Risk & Compliance teams. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 security tooling, a risk-based mindset, and the ability to translate security requirements into practical, scalable implementations., Security Operations & Incident Response

  • Investigate and respond to security alerts (Microsoft Sentinel & Defender XDR).
  • Support incident response (triage, investigation, containment).
  • Analyse and correlate security events using KQL & Log Analytics.
  • Work with IT, identity teams, and vendors to resolve incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis and improve detections and controls.

Cloud & Identity Security (Azure & Entra ID)

  • Own and improve security across Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Manage identities, roles, access, and integrations.
  • Strengthen Conditional Access and MFA setup.
  • Ensure secure onboarding of new applications (secure-by-design).
  • Continuously assess and improve cloud security posture.

Security Projects & Collaboration

  • Drive security initiatives (cloud hardening, monitoring, identity improvements).
  • Work cross-functionally with IT, Architecture, and Compliance teams.
  • Translate security requirements into practical implementations.
  • Track risks, progress, and dependencies.

Risk, Compliance & Audits

  • Perform security assessments aligned with NIST / ISMS.
  • Identify gaps across cloud, identity, endpoints, and logging.
  • Support audits and vendor risk assessments.
  • Apply pragmatic, risk-based improvements.

Continuous Improvement

  • Coordinate penetration testing and security exercises.
  • Improve detection quality and incident response processes.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft security developments and threat landscape.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Security?, * 3-5 years of experience in information security

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure & Microsoft 365 security
  • Solid understanding of cloud, identity, and security operations
  • A practical, risk-based mindset (not just theory)
  • Someone proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented
  • Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with PowerShell, automation, or certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM) is a plus
