Job description
We are seeking a Senior Group IT Project Manager to lead complex technology and business transformation initiatives across our diverse group of companies operating within the cruise, shipping and pharmaceutical sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategic change, implement innovative solutions and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver projects that support the continued growth of the business., Project Delivery
· Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of group-wide IT projects across multiple business units.
· Manage the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, scoping, planning, risk management, implementation, testing, training and post-project review.
· Ensure projects are delivered to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.
· Develop clear project plans, timelines, milestones and reporting structures.
· Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
· Coordinate internal teams, external suppliers, consultants and software vendors.
Systems & Technology
· Work across a wide range of software solutions, including operational, financial, compliance, CRM, HR, procurement, logistics, document management and reporting systems.
· Support the selection, implementation and integration of new software platforms across the group.
· Understand how different systems interact across business functions and identify opportunities for improvement, automation and integration.
· Work closely with IT, finance, operations, compliance and senior management teams to ensure systems meet business needs.
· Support data migration, system testing, user acceptance testing and go-live planning.
Stakeholder Management
· Act as a key liaison between group leadership, business unit management, IT teams and third-party providers.
· Translate business requirements into clear technical and project deliverables.
· Communicate project progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Manage expectations and ensure strong engagement across all levels of the organisation.
· Facilitate project meetings, workshops and steering group updates.
Business Change & Process Improvement
· Identify opportunities to improve business processes through better use of technology.
· Support change management activity, including user communication, training and adoption planning.
· Ensure new systems and processes are embedded effectively within each business area.
· Promote consistency, best practice and standardisation across the group where appropriate.
· Balance group-wide requirements with the specific operational needs of businesses in the cruise, shipping and pharmaceutical sectors.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
· Ensure projects are delivered in line with group governance, security, data protection and compliance requirements.
· Maintain clear project documentation, including business cases, project plans, risk registers, decision logs and implementation records.
· Support compliance with relevant industry requirements, particularly where systems impact pharmaceutical operations, quality management, data integrity or regulated processes.
· Ensure appropriate consideration is given to cybersecurity, business continuity and disaster recovery during project delivery., * Office-based role with some travel required to other company/customer sites.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports directly to the Senior Management Team.
General Tasks
- To fully support the Company's business aims and objectives.
- To ensure that the Company's H&S Policy, and procedures are strictly adhered to at all times, by maintaining and instilling in others, a safe and efficient working environment.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Project management?, The successful candidate will bring significant project management experience, strong technical awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills, together with the ability to operate effectively across multiple business environments, systems and regulatory frameworks. They will manage projects from initial scoping through to implementation, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with business objectives., · Significant experience managing complex IT projects across multiple departments, sites or business units.
· Strong understanding of a broad range of business software solutions and IT systems.
· Experience delivering software implementation, integration, migration or digital transformation projects.
· Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk management and reporting.
· Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior leaders, operational teams and technical specialists.
· Ability to work across different sectors, business models and regulatory environments.
· Experience managing third-party suppliers, software vendors and implementation partners.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Desirable
· Experience working within cruise, shipping, logistics, pharmaceutical, healthcare or regulated environments.
· Knowledge of ERP, CRM, finance, HR, quality management, fleet management, document control or operational software systems.
· Experience with system integration, data migration and reporting tools.
· Familiarity with cybersecurity, data protection and business continuity principles.
· Project management qualification such as PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMP or equivalent.
· Experience working within an ISO quality/regulatory framework would be advantageous.
