Job description

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will:

  • Support and maintain server, storage, and infrastructure environments
  • Administer Windows Server environments and core Microsoft technologies
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
  • Support Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues
  • Assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects
  • Manage virtualised environments using VMware or Hyper-V
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
  • Work closely with Service Desk and wider IT teams to resolve escalated issues

Requirements

To be considered for this IT Infrastructure Engineer opportunity, you should have:

  • Previous experience in an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Administrator, or IT Infrastructure Engineer role
  • Strong experience supporting Windows Server environments
  • Excellent knowledge of:
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • DNS & DHCP
  • Microsoft 365
  • Azure
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, * Previous MSP experience
  • Experience with Intune and SCCM
  • Exposure to networking technologies including switches, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Experience with Azure migrations or cloud transformation projects
  • Relevant Microsoft, VMware, or Azure certifications
