Job description
A well-established SAP Business One partner is expanding its consulting practice in the North West and is looking for a Functional Consultant to lead implementations and ongoing support for mid-market clients. You will sit at the heart of the project lifecycle - translating business requirements into well-configured SAP Business One solutions across finance, sales, purchasing, inventory and manufacturing. This is a client-facing role with genuine ownership, suited to someone who enjoys solving real operational problems rather than just ticking configuration boxes., You will run requirements-gathering workshops, document business processes and map them onto SAP Business One functionality. Day to day you will configure modules, lead data migration and system setup, build and refine Crystal Reports, and support testing and user-acceptance cycles through to go-live. You will deliver end-user training, provide post-implementation support, and work alongside technical developers and integration specialists to scope customisations and integrations where standard functionality needs extending.
Requirements
We want a consultant with hands-on SAP Business One implementation experience and strong functional knowledge across the core finance and logistics modules. Solid process-mapping skills and confident client communication matter as much as product knowledge. Familiarity with Crystal Reports is expected, and exposure to the SAP Business One SDK, the B1if integration framework, SQL, or SAP HANA would all strengthen an application. We are open to consultants at the mid-to-senior end of the scale; what counts most is the ability to own a workstream and keep clients confident.
