Job description
- Own and manage the profit and loss (P&L) performance of assigned product lines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors at multiple organizational levels.
- Create and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, programs, and promotional initiatives.
- Provide proactive sales support and collaborate with sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and industry data to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and business analyses for management and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of business plans and strategic initiatives with general guidance from management.
- Design and implement pricing strategies tailored to key accounts and market conditions.
- Forecast demand, plan inventory requirements with vendors, and manage inventory levels to meet business objectives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the markets, product categories, and industry trends relevant to assigned product lines.
- Coordinate and facilitate vendor training sessions, business reviews, and meetings with internal sales teams.
Requirements

- Minimum of five years of experience in sales, business development, product management, or a related role within a distribution channel or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and business objectives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, including over the phone.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment.
