This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your technical skills within a fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement., * Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware including servers, switches, routers, and telecommunication equipment such as Cisco routers, Juniper devices, and Avaya systems.
- Perform fiber splicing, cabling (Cat5, Cat6), and low voltage wiring to support network installation projects.
- Conduct routine inspections using schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot network issues and hardware failures.
- Use hand tools and power tools for equipment repair, cabling management, and electrical work following NEC standards.
- Monitor CCTV systems for security purposes and assist with physical security protocols within the data center environment.
- Support field service activities including site visits for equipment installation, upgrades, or repairs at client locations.
- Document all work performed with detailed reports on system status, repairs made, and parts used to ensure accurate records for maintenance logs.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Structured cabling installation?, * Proven experience as a service technician or field technician in data centers or telecommunication environments.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN (Local Area Network), Ethernet cabling, VoIP telephony systems such as Avaya, and network protocols.
- Hands-on experience with network installation, equipment repair, fiber splicing, and low voltage electrical work.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and ensure compliance with NEC standards.
- Knowledge of Cisco routers, Juniper networking devices, and telephony systems like Avaya or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members alike.
