Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our team. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and management of our company's computer systems, networks, and software applications. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently to support our daily operations., * Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Monitor system performance and conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Manage user accounts and permissions, including creating and disabling accounts and resetting passwords
- Develop and implement security protocols to protect our systems from cyber threats
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement new technologies to improve system efficiency and functionality
- Provide technical support and training to employees on system usage and best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for system improvements
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows support?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a System Administrator role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
