Job description

Perform engineering services to enable all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, sustainment of existing networks, and identification/correction of complex internetwork issues. Implements and sustains Wide Area Networks (WANs), Campus Area Networks (CANs), Data Center Networks/Interfaces (DCN/DCI), Network Security (NETSEC), and Tactical/Deployable Networking Systems. Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents. Implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a networked enterprise environment. Analyzes network characteristics (e.g., traffic connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes, and throughput), troubleshoots problems, and recommends modification of network configurations.

Requirements

Ten (10) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in engineering or Information Systems Management from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Perform site surveys, system installations, configuration management, maintenance, modernization, and sustainment of the global Enterprise Network Perform connectivity engineering services for pre- and post-deployment tests Implement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load-balancing, VPN's, firewall contexts, and network address translation Resolve complex network problems, operate network analyzers, WAN test equipment, and network simulators Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $185,000. This range is a good-faith estimate that reflects various experience levels. At CyberCore, we consider multiple factors when determining compensation, including the specific role and its responsibilities, the candidate's professional experience, geographic location, education, and relevant skills. This range is not a guarantee of salary, as final compensation may also be influenced by contractual requirements and other considerations.
