PRT Staffing is seeking a Technology Applications Specialist to join a growing team supporting business critical software applications that power production, workflow automation, customer fulfillment, and operational success. What You'll Do: As a Technology Applications Specialist, you will help maintain, support, test, troubleshoot, and optimize software applications used throughout daily operations.
Application Support Responsibilities
- Support enterprise software applications and business process systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve application related issues
- Assist users with software functionality and workflow questions
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements
- Document issues, solutions, and process updates
Business Systems and Workflow Support
- Support workflow automation platforms and production management systems
- Assist with onboarding new customers and software implementations
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing and Quality Control activities
- Support print on demand, workflow, and production applications
- Configure and maintain application settings and workflows
Ticket and Service Management
- Respond to application support requests and incidents
- Track issues through ticketing and support systems
- Escalate complex technical issues when necessary
- Communicate effectively with users and project stakeholders
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and workflows
- Assist with optimization and automation projects
- Support testing and deployment of system enhancements
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and support materials
Preferred Experience: Experience supporting one or more of the following technologies is highly preferred:
- Enterprise application support
- Business process applications
- ERP systems
- Workflow automation platforms
- Production management systems
- ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Quality Assurance or Quality Control processes
Bonus Skills: Candidates with any of the following experience will stand out:
- XML
- Active Directory fundamentals
- Networking fundamentals
- PowerShell
- Bash
- Python
- JavaScript
- Other scripting or automation languages
Requirements
Do you have experience in XML?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Strong computer troubleshooting and technical problem solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
