  • Manage and troubleshoot computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications such as Microsoft Office and Help Desk tools like ServiceNow or Jira
  • Configure and maintain network devices such as firewalls, switches, routers, and BMC Remedy systems to ensure optimal security and performance
  • Assist users with desktop support tasks including software troubleshooting, operating system updates, and hardware repairs
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues proactively, and implement solutions to minimize downtime
  • Support the setup and management of IT infrastructure components including LANs, operating systems, and security protocols
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and system configurations accurately using ticketing tools like Jira or ServiceNow

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support roles with a focus on computer networking and help desk functions
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
  • Familiarity with network security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, and related protocols
  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues related to hardware compatibility or network connectivity efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical users
  • Experience managing computer hardware components and performing desktop support tasks
  • Knowledge of IT support ticketing systems like BMC Remedy or ServiceNow is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
