Job description

  • Diagnose and repair desktop and laptop computer hardware
  • Perform advanced motherboard and component-level troubleshooting
  • Diagnose POST failures, boot issues, power faults, and intermittent hardware problems
  • Update, configure, and troubleshoot BIOS and firmware across multiple platforms
  • Install and replace CPUs, memory, storage devices, cooling systems, and other hardware components
  • Validate repairs through software and hardware testing procedures
  • Evaluate systems for cosmetic condition and document repair requirements
  • Maintain repair quality standards while meeting productivity goals
  • Share technical knowledge and contribute to process improvements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements

Do you have experience in Root cause analysis?, This is a role for experienced technicians who are confident working independently, making technical decisions, and tackling repairs beyond basic component replacement. You'll work with a wide variety of desktop and laptop systems, performing advanced diagnostics and repairs that directly impact our success., * 3+ years of professional computer repair experience

  • Strong understanding of computer hardware architecture and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Experience diagnosing motherboard, power delivery, and firmware-related issues
  • Experience updating and troubleshooting BIOS and firmware
  • Ability to independently diagnose complex hardware failures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the workday, * Experience working with Dell, HP, Lenovo, and enterprise-class systems
  • Familiarity with hardware diagnostic software and testing tools
  • Experience with board-level repair or soldering is a plus
