Join our dedicated team as a Graveyard/NOC Med Tech/Care Giver, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, around-the-clock care and support to individuals in various care settings. This dynamic position combines medical assistance, patient monitoring, and caregiving responsibilities to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents or clients during overnight shifts. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and families to deliver high-quality care in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospices, or community-based environments. - Assist with activities of daily living such as mobility support, hygiene care, and feeding assistance, including tube feeding when necessary
- Administer medications accurately following medical documentation protocols and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner), documenting patient care activities with precision and clarity
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory care needs by providing specialized attention and compassionate companionship
- Perform medical procedures including catheter care, wound dressing changes, and vital signs measurement while adhering to safety standards and physiology knowledge
- Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication regarding patient status and care plans
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, * Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments with a focus on senior or hospice care
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration protocols
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient records and medical history
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high levels of attention to detail and professionalism
- Compassionate caregiving skills with experience supporting individuals with disabilities or complex health needs
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and secure handling of medical records
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and family members
