Job description
· L3 Escalation Support: Act as the highest escalation point for macOS incidents and infrastructure problems, driving high-severity issues to resolution and conducting detailed root-cause analysis.
· MDM Administration: Administer, optimize, and scale Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (Jamf and VMware Workspace ONE) across a large global fleet.
· Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts (Bash/Python) to minimize operational overhead, automate remediation tasks, and improve overall endpoint telemetry.
· Fleet Health & Compliance: Monitor endpoint fleet performance, track compliance and patching KPIs, and execute continuous endpoint hardening and security updates.
· Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Security, Network Engineering, and Service Desk teams to standardize client platform solutions and documentation to uplift L1/L2 service capabilities.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS administration?, · 5+ years of hands-on experience in macOS Desktop Engineering and high-tier platform support.
· 5+ years of experience administering enterprise-scale MDM platforms (Jamf or VMware Workspace ONE) across environments with 10,000+ devices.
· Deep Apple Ecosystem Expertise: Mastery of Apple Business Manager (ABM), Automated Device Enrollment (ADE), Volume Purchase Program (VPP), and custom configuration profiles/policy frameworks.
· Hands-on scripting experience (Bash or Python) written specifically for macOS deployment automation.
· Background working within hybrid corporate environments (interfacing with Windows teams, Active Directory, or VDI/Citrix environments).
· Familiarity with endpoint hardening and security compliance frameworks.
