Job description
We are currently seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance of our IT infrastructure and systems, directly supporting our mission to deliver top-quality products., * Provide first-line support for all IT-related issues including hardware, software, network, and other peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, file servers, ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues, replace defective components when necessary.
- Assist in implementing IT projects and new technology rollouts.
- Perform regular maintenance and monitoring to ensure network availability to all system users.
- Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data in accordance with business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
- Develop and maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment.
- Assist in the organization and inventory management of all hardware and software resources.
- Maintain confidentiality about the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years hands on experience in an IT support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, basic network protocols, and hardware components.
- Good knowledge of Office 365 environment and applications.
- Experience with industrial IT environments, including the setup and maintenance of industrial/manufacturing software applications is highly advantageous.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical staff.
- Be able to follow instructions from corporate IT office.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or Cisco Certified Network Associate are preferred., * Associate (Preferred)
Experience:
- IT Support: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CCNA (Preferred)
- CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
- MCITP (Preferred)
