Job description
As a Systems Integration Engineer, you'll be at the intersection of hardware, software, and real-world validation. You'll work across disciplines to bring complex systems together, ensuring they perform reliably from bench to production. This is a hands-on role where you'll own integration challenges end-to-end, collaborate with a tight-knit engineering team, and build the kind of technical depth that comes from working on hard problems., * Integrate hardware and software subsystems, validating interfaces and ensuring end-to-end system functionality.
- Design, execute, and document integration test plans covering SIL, HIL, and physical validation.
- Analyze CAN bus and communication protocol data to diagnose and resolve integration issues.
- Write clean, maintainable scripts in Python to automate test workflows and process data.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation: wiring schematics, integration guides, test reports, and calibration procedures.
- Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to identify root causes and drive issues to resolution.
- Support continuous improvement of integration processes, tooling, and best practices.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems integration?, * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of professional or project experience in systems integration, controls engineering, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with electromechanical systems, LV/HV electronics, or embedded control systems.
- Proficiency in at least one of: Python, C, or C++
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, or similar.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
- Clear written and verbal communication - you can translate technical findings into plain language.
Bonus Points
- Experience with CAD tools (Catia, NX, or similar) for reviewing or creating component models.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum workflows.
- Experience with Grafana or other data visualization tools.
