Job description
As a Senior Enterprise Engineer, you will be part of a team that owns and operates all Windows server environments and systems across all THG sites globally. You will have the opportunity to create the technology landscape of THG and enable the business to strive towards new heights; we place a strong emphasis on automation and modernising all systems.
You will actively work with other engineers within the team and external to the team in the wider business, you will be advancing the companies technical capabilities by building new services and improving on existing systems.
We are looking for ambitious individuals that relish new challenges in a constantly evolving environment.
The role would be suited to someone with previous Windows Server OS experience, Okta and Active Directory architecture, and have a keen understanding of tools such as GitHub, PowerShell and Jenkins.
Key Responsibilities

Design of all Windows Servers systems and services

Ensuring availability of the group platform and services

Implementation and management of automation tools, scripts and practises for configuration, deployment and monitoring of services.

Leveraging Cloud resources to facilitate the business needs.

Mentoring individuals across the organisation to increase their knowledge and aid in their roles
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Experience designing, deploying, and hardening Windows Server 2022 within secure environments

Design and architectural implementation of Active Directory and associated systems

Expert automation skills with PowerShell, Power Automate and such technologies

Experience with MFA/SSO systems such as Okta
-
Well versed in O365 and Azure integration
-
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a face paced environment
An Interest in any of the following would be highly desirable

Hyper-V, VMware, or other virtualisation technologies

Cloud offerings such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
-
Windows Server Failover Clustering in physical and virtual environments

Infrastructure as Code practises and implementation
-
Server security and vulnerability management
