What You'll Be DoingTranslating business and mission objectives into enterprise architecture strategies and transformation roadmapsDefining future-state enterprise architectures across business, application, data and technology domainsLeading architecture workstreams across complex digital transformation programmesAssessing the impact of strategic change across enterprise-wide technology landscapesProducing architecture blueprints covering systems, integrations, data flows and operating modelsAdvising senior stakeholders on technology strategy, investment decisions and transformation prioritiesDriving architecture governance and ensuring alignment across programmes and initiativesSupporting enterprise data platform design, integration and automation capabilitiesConducting technology, platform and vendor assessmentsIdentifying opportunities to leverage cloud, AI, automation and emerging technologies

Requirements

Ideal BackgroundEnterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture or Technology Strategy experienceExperience working within Defence, National Security, Government or other highly regulated environmentsStrong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologiesExperience delivering large-scale transformation, modernisation or digital reinvention programmesAbility to engage and influence senior business and technical stakeholdersExposure to enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday or major cloud providersUnderstanding of cloud, data, AI and modern enterprise technology ecosystemsExperience working across multidisciplinary delivery teams Desirable experience includes:Consulting experienceTOGAF or similar architecture certificationsEnterprise architecture tooling such as LeanIX, Bizzdesign, Orbus or AvolutionKnowledge of UK Government technology standards and frameworksExperience with business capability modelling, architecture governance and operating model design
