Job description
Working within the Operational Excellence team at our blade facility in Hull, we are currently looking for Production Data Collector and Controller (process checks) to join us in Hull blade factory.
As a Data Collector and Controller performing process checks across our operational areas, you would be responsible for ensuring adherence to our manufacturing process documentation and follow up on any deviations through the relevant processes in place. Additionally, you will be contributing to the Data Collection process to help drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Performing process checks in line with Controlled Production Processes. With the ability to plan, conduct, and report on process audits in a structured, objective, and professional manner.
- Effective use of processes and systems to address deviations.
- Report and provide feedback on process check results and trends.
- Interact with the production team and senior leaders and update the information, keeping the teams informed.
- Attend the production meetings and support the extended quality assurance team.
- Supporting the wider data collection and control team when required.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Power BI?, * Knowledge of quality and auditing principles is preferred.
- We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is flexible and can work as an individual coordinator with the Ability to plan, conduct, and report on process audits in a structured, objective, and professional manner.
- Self-starter with a problem-solving & attention to detail skill, who can show the adaptability to prioritise multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Strong Microsoft Office, Power BI, and IT Equipment skills are advantageous.
- Effective communicator with the confidence to engage, challenge, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Knowledge of using production systems (SAP, Teamcenter preferred)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Competent to work under pressure to meet deadlines and take responsibility for their own work.
- Confident in delivering training, briefings, and feedback relating to audit findings.
- Driven by the ability to work on their own initiative to achieve targets
- Competent in all Microsoft Office packages: Intermediate level in Excel
- Critical/Analytical Thinking
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and operational requirements is advantageous. To be successful in this role you will have the ability to work under your own initiative as well as being able to effectively work on a team across 4 shifts. Your character will be strong in understanding and acting upon customer needs, supporting change and actively engaging with colleagues.
