Job description

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure and Fabric, including Fabric Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and OneLake
  • Design and development of AI agent workflows using LangChain, Copilot Studio, or Microsoft AI frameworks
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in Python, PySpark, and SQL
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to secure coding and best practices
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into software and AI solutions
  • Learn and experiment with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tools to expand agentic AI capabilities
  • Troubleshoot issues in data pipelines or AI workflows and implement reliable solutions
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes and manage code repositories in GitHub or Azure DevOps
  • Support mentorship and knowledge sharing within the team, particularly around Agentic AI concepts and data engineering best practices
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use

About The Team

The Corporate Systems team, part of the Technology Services Group, supports Moody's core business and technology operations by enabling reliable day to day execution, strong coordination, and effective governance across corporate platforms and shared services. The team partners closely with senior leaders, product teams, and key stakeholders across the enterprise to drive operational excellence while also advancing innovation, including the adoption and enablement of AI driven capabilities. By bringing structure, clarity, and rigor to complex environments, Corporate Systems team members contribute to high impact work that improves how technology is delivered, operated, and evolved across the organization-helping ensure Moody's systems are resilient, forward looking, and positioned for continued growth.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of software development experience, ideally with exposure to cloud-based data engineering
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure and Fabric
  • Experience in building agentic AI workflows is a plus
  • Interest in learning and working with Agentic AI frameworks like LangChain, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft AI services
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a curious and self-learning mindset
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and understand business objectives

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

Benefits & conditions

Annual base salary gross: €44,200.00 to €70,800.00. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
