Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Job description

You start your shift on the production floor, scanning dashboards and control charts to spot trends before they become issues. A process audit leads to a quick huddle where you walk the team through a 5-Why. Later, you verify CTQs, update line metrics, and coach associates on error-proofing. In the afternoon, you dig into supplier data, escalate a corrective action, and document findings from a plant trial-closing the loop with a clear, data-backed report. Safety is woven through it all, as you model OSHA-aligned practices and help cultivate a culture where quality and safety go hand-in-hand., * Provide hands-on quality support in a multi-shift, high-volume environment; build a customer-first quality mindset using data capture, process monitoring, root cause analysis, and corrective action.

  • Champion a strong safety culture and support training and policy adherence aligned to OSHA to prevent workplace injuries.
  • Execute quality management system audits along with process and product audits.
  • Lead structured RCAs and drive corrective actions to closure.
  • Maintain line-level quality dashboards/metrics and engage in regular quality reviews.
  • Oversee and verify CTQs, SPC, and error-proofing controls across operations.
  • Collect, analyze, and communicate quality data; participate in cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Train plant associates on QMS and TQM concepts and best practices.
  • Identify, report, and escalate supplier quality issues; manage supplier RCAs and follow-up actions.
  • Participate in plant trials, produce concise reports, and recommend improvement ideas.
  • Advance site-wide continuous improvement to raise customer quality performance.
  • Support SSB corporate quality initiatives and standards.
