Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Network Operations Analyst to join our team and drive the stability, security, and efficiency of our network infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and optimizing complex network systems across diverse environments. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity, robust security measures, and high availability of our IT services. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are passionate about maintaining cutting-edge network operations, this opportunity is perfect for you!, * Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), and MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) connections to ensure optimal performance.

  • Manage and configure network security devices such as Cisco ASA firewalls, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) to protect against threats.
  • Perform system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and implement security protocols like IPsec encryption, LDAP authentication, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), and SSO (Single Sign-On).
  • Support network installation projects involving routers, switches, SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), load balancers, and high availability configurations using VMware vSphere or ESXi.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible to improve efficiency and consistency in system administration.
  • Conduct regular network monitoring with tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Splunk to identify issues proactively and maintain system health.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams following ITIL best practices within an Agile framework to support network support requests and incident resolution.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Splunk?, * Extensive knowledge of computer networking concepts including routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP; network protocols like TCP/IP, UDP; and DNS/DHCP services.

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers/switches, Juniper devices, Meraki solutions, and open-source operating systems like Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu, openSUSE, BSD variants.
  • Proficiency in system administration across Windows Server environments and Linux distributions including Ubuntu and CentOS.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi and Citrix; experience with cloud services like AWS and Azure is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles including SSL/TLS encryption, SFTP/FTP/SCP file transfer protocols, SSH remote access software, VPN configuration, SSO integration, and network hardening techniques.
  • Ability to perform vulnerability assessments using tools like SolarWinds or Splunk; experience with network management tools such as SolarWinds or PRTG is preferred.
