Laboratory Pre-Analytical Services Associate I

The primary function of this role is to support laboratory operations by preparing, processing, and routing specimens for testing. This position is responsible for maintaining specimen integrity, resolving specimen-related issues, coordinating test requests, and providing support across various laboratory departments while ensuring quality and accuracy., * Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.

• Process, sort, rack, retrieve, and organize specimens.
• Prepare and send specimens and test requests to reference laboratories for testing.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve specimen-related issues.
• Release test results and route test requests to the appropriate testing locations.
• Assist clients with specimen-related inquiries and requests.
• Process specimens for referral testing at additional laboratory facilities.
• Maintain accurate records and logs in a timely manner.
• Provide support to multiple areas within the laboratory.
• Ensure proper specimen handling and maintain specimen integrity throughout the process.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all laboratory safety procedures and company policies.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and email skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities., * Previous laboratory, healthcare, specimen processing, or clerical experience.
• Experience with specimen handling and data entry.
• Familiarity with laboratory workflows and procedures., * Full-time opportunity with potential for conversion based on performance and business needs.
