The Technology Manager - IT Workflow and Automation Manager role exists within the Legacy and Could Support division of Technology Solutions. This role reports to the LCS Manager and is responsible for providing administrative, platform management, and solution support to ensure satisfactory customer service. This position is devoted to providing enterprise technology support and analysis for the City including strategic OnBase system administration and governance, application management and integration, security, technical support, and general user desktop applications support. Responsible for serving as the highest level of technical specialist overseeing enterprise platform and providing technical direction and technical supervision to other managers and analysts; managing the technical aspect of large complex technology projects and serving as an expert consultant to other City departments.
Manage daily platform monitoring and maintenance by ensuring OnBase platform, Granicus, and M365 best practices; adhering to structured procedures for service as outlined in ITIL; report on and detailed plans to mitigate user and platform data risk. Ensure platform resource availability and allocation. Provide accurate reporting to the Technology Solutions LCS Manager and Technology Solutions Senior Leadership., * Supervises enterprise applications; serves as the highest level of technical specialist; supervises staff; assists with developing department policies and procedures; designs and implements solutions; identifies and mitigates risk; and performs quality assurance duties.
- Coordinates the preparation of and/or prepares, reviews, and/or maintains reports, proposals, plans, demos, contracts, presentations, and other documentation; researches, analyzes, reviews and approves information; develops and implements recommendations.
- Collaborates with City departments and/or external agencies; convenes, attends and facilitates meetings; provides subject matter expertise and technical consultation; and assists with the management of high-visibility and highly technical projects and initiatives., * OnBase administrative tasks through the OnBase Studio for workflow management
- OnBase desktop client application management
- Managing the OnBase server farm including but not limited to the timer jobs, SQL Instance, DIP processes, SSL certificate deployment
- M365 administrative tasks through Microsoft Admin
- SPO administrative tasks through SharePoint Admin
- MS Teams administrative tasks through MS Teams
- Granicus administrative tasks through Granicus Event Manager
- Managing Access: Group Administration; Application Integrations
- Monitoring operational functioning and performance tuning.
- Providing leadership and guidance citywide on best practices for aligning their process to the workflows.
- Providing end user service support on workflows.
- Evaluating and managing upgrades and new software solutions.
- Providing training and maintaining documentation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management in technology?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in computer science or a directly related field
- Five years of professional information technology experience in area of assignment as well as project management experience
