QA Technician

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented QA Technician to join our Quality Assurance team. This role is essential in ensuring that all products meet strict food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on QA/QC experience in a food manufacturing environment and is confident communicating quality expectations to production operators., * Perform sensory and analytical testing on ingredients and finished products

• Conduct line audits, verify production paperwork, and monitor production activities
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF, HACCP, and internal quality programs
• Maintain product control systems and sample retention
• Support product hold and release processes
• Enter data into Excel and TGI; verify standards and calibrate lab equipment
• Organize samples for outside laboratory testing
• Verify accuracy of reprinted labels
• Communicate quality issues clearly and professionally to operators

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in food manufacturing, QA, or operations preferred
• Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, allergens, sanitation, and GMPs
• Comfortable enforcing quality standards and stopping operators when necessary
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Occasional exposure to warehouse and manufacturing environments
• Extended periods working at a computer

• Shift 1pm-9pm (Mon-Fri) - $21-$24/hr + $2.50 Shift Differential
