Laulima Government Solutions is looking for a qualified Senior Web Developer to provide support to an Armed Forces customer whose mission is to execute comprehensive health surveillance activities.

Description of Responsibilities:

Activities include:

• Participating in planning sessions with the team to analyze business requirements and contribute to the proposed IT solutions.
• Participating in design reviews and providing input to the high-level design recommendations.
• Documenting the detailed application specifications.
• Developing high quality code that adheres to architectural approaches and coding policies/standards.
• Participating in code reviews and testing.
• Developing, maintaining and enhancing java applications, using java swing, JDeveloper 11g EJB, oracle 11g database including bug fixing, improving applications performance and adding new functionalities increasing scope of the applications.
• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using Java enterprise development, Java Server Pages (JSP)/Applet, JDBC, Java Script, EJB, Oracle 11g database, including bug fixing, improving application performance and adding new functionalities increasing scope of the applications.
• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures/packages, functions and triggers for oracle 11g.
• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing UNIX shell scripts.

• Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. Candidates with active Security clearance preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems (Masters or equivalent preferred).

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master's Degree preferred.
