Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior C# Software Developer to support the development, enhancement, and sustainment of mission-critical software systems for a government program. This role will focus on designing, developing, integrating, and testing Windows-based applications that directly support operational objectives., * Analyze user needs and translate operational requirements into software solutions
- Design, develop, integrate, and test C# applications in Windows environments
- Collaborate with engineers, testers, and government stakeholders to refine requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including software designs and user guides
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications
- Participate in configuration management and software release activities
- Support on-site integration, testing, and customer demonstrations
- Implement software quality assurance best practices
- Assist with software sustainment and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, The ideal candidate will have strong experience throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software design, development, integration, testing, configuration management, and quality assurance., * Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core
- Experience developing Windows-based applications
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Development
- Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or other relational databases
- Experience throughout the software development lifecycle
- Ability to work in Windows operating environments and standard development toolchains
Preferred Qualifications
- Selenium experience
- Experience with WPF and/or WinForms
- Knowledge of real-time systems, control systems, or embedded interfaces
- Experience with Microservices, Containers, or Distributed Architectures
- Modeling & Simulation experience
- Data Visualization or System Monitoring tools experience
- Familiarity with AI/ML, Data Analytics, or Automated Planning
- Experience supporting fielded systems and customer-facing demonstrations
- CompTIA Security+ Certification (or ability to obtain)
