  • Own delivery of a strategic platform modernization initiative within WI

  • Accountable for end-to-end engineering outcomes: design, build, quality, and production readiness

  • Influence architecture, engineering standards, and delivery practices across teams

  • Partner closely with Product and Architecture to shape roadmap and execution strategy

  • Contribute to establishing AI-assisted and spec-driven engineering practices across the organization, Engineering Leadership and Delivery

  • Champion adoption of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices, * Build, mentor, and develop engineers and emerging technical leaders
  • Create a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Drive hiring and team composition aligned with platform needs
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to improve individual and team effectiveness, * Partner with Product, Architecture, and enterprise teams to align priorities and execution
  • Represent engineering in senior-level forums, communicating technical decisions and trade-offs
  • Manage external dependencies and technical integrations across partner teams, * Bringing passion to your work to encourage and motivate your team.
  • Exemplifying an attitude of constant improvement and enhancement that strives to embody Fidelity's leadership principles.
  • Mentoring team members to improve their performance, knowledge and expertise.
  • Providing support by removing obstacles and assisting with prioritization when needed.
  • Helping to build a culture of learning, empowerment, and visibility.
  • Collaborating to achieve the best results for WI and Fidelity.

  • Deep understanding of: API design and lifecycle management CI/CD pipelines and engineering automation
  • Observability and production reliability
