Job description

Colorado West Ear, Nose & Throat / Audiology & Allergy is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Audiology Technician to support our audiologists in delivering exceptional patient care. This position plays a key role in patient flow, hearing aid support, diagnostic testing preparation, and administrative coordination within a busy specialty practice., Clinical Duties

  • Prepare patients for audiology appointments and assist with patient intake.
  • Obtain and document medical histories and hearing-related concerns.
  • Perform hearing aid cleanings, maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
  • Educate patients on hearing aid care, use, and maintenance.
  • Assist audiologists with diagnostic testing and procedures.
  • Ensure examination rooms and equipment are clean and properly stocked.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.

Administrative Duties

  • Manage hearing aid inventory, supplies, and manufacturer orders.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-up care.
  • Process hearing aid shipments, warranties, and repair requests.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
  • Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and authorizations.
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
  • Manage medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Customer communication?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in healthcare, audiology, ENT, or medical office settings.
  • Experience with hearing aids or medical devices.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems., * Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
  • Ability to assist patients and handle audiology equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
