Job description
We're looking for a seasoned NetSuite and EDI expert to serve as the single owner of our ERP ecosystem and all trading partner integrations. This is a senior individual contributor role with organizational influence - you won't just maintain the system, you'll shape how it scales with the business. You'll work directly with leadership across Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Technology to drive system strategy, enforce data governance, and eliminate operational friction across our DTC, wholesale, and retail channels.
This role is right for someone who has been the go-to NetSuite person at a scaling brand, has deep EDI scar tissue from managing complex retail partner relationships, and is ready to build something that outlasts them through documentation, automation, and smart architecture., ERP Strategy & Ownership
- Own the NetSuite platform end-to-end - architecture decisions, release management, module configuration, and long-term roadmap in partnership with leadership
- Design and maintain scalable system architecture as the business adds channels, geographies, SKUs, and 3PL partners
- Manage relationships with NetSuite account management, support, and any external implementation partners or MSPs
- Evaluate and lead integration projects from scoping through go-live, partnering with IT and vendors on technical delivery
- Define and enforce data governance standards across items, customers, vendors, pricing, and financial records to ensure consistent, auditable data across all channels
Advanced EDI Operations & Trading Partner Management
- Own the full EDI program - including trading partner onboarding strategy, platform governance (SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, or equivalent), and escalation path for production issues
- Serve as the senior technical resource for all EDI transaction sets: 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 860, 997, and retail-specific compliance documents
- Establish and maintain SLAs for EDI processing, error resolution, and chargeback prevention; track and report on key performance metrics
- Lead root cause analysis on recurring EDI failures and drive permanent fixes - not just one-time patches
- Oversee compliance requirements for key retail partners (routing guides, labeling specs, GTIN/UPC standards, fill rate expectations), proactively managing chargeback risk
- Act as the internal subject matter expert for all wholesale and marketplace EDI onboarding - owning timelines, retailer communication, and internal stakeholder readiness
Integrations & Systems Architecture
- Architect and maintain the full integration layer between NetSuite and external platforms: Shopify/Shopify Plus, 3PL WMS systems, EDI middleware, and financial tools
- Lead integration troubleshooting for high-priority incidents; distinguish between NetSuite, middleware, and endpoint issues quickly
- Own the API and webhook layer between NetSuite and ecommerce platforms; collaborate with development teams on custom connector builds where needed
Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Build and maintain a library of executive-level Saved Searches, custom reports, and SuiteAnalytics Workbooks that surface real-time operational, financial, and inventory KPIs
- Partner with Finance on month-end close support, revenue recognition, and audit readiness - ensuring NetSuite data is the source of truth
- Proactively identify data gaps, reconciliation issues, or process breakdowns before they impact financial reporting or operations
Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Identify and eliminate manual, error-prone workflows through SuiteFlow automation, scripting, or smarter system design
- Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand pain points and translate them into NetSuite solutions
- Mentor junior team members or offshore contractors on NetSuite best practices, EDI standards, and documentation
- Drive adoption of new features through training, change management, and clear internal communication
- Maintain a comprehensive system documentation library: integration maps, EDI specifications, workflow diagrams, and runbooks
Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
