Job description
- Lead the technical architecture, planning, and delivery of enterprise cloud applications and data platforms.
- Design, review, and guide implementation of cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud environments.
- Serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams, government stakeholders, and business users.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure cloud architectures.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and implementation roadmaps.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies while ensuring technical quality.
- Support system modernization, data integration, and cloud migration initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with government, healthcare, and data governance standards.
- Facilitate technical reviews, status briefings, and stakeholder meetings.
- Support Agile or hybrid delivery models, working closely with developers, data engineers, and security teams.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience delivering cloud solutions in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud (architecture and implementation, not just oversight).
- Demonstrated experience combining technical leadership with project management responsibilities.
- Experience supporting public health, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare data systems.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, regulatory environments, and data management practices.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Trello).
- (required for government contract eligibility).
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation.
