As an Associate Director MST Packaging & Technology, you will be the technical lead optimizing the packaging and labeling process for clinical trials. You will seamlessly bridge design and production to ensure our life-saving compounds reach patients safely, compliantly, and precisely on time.
roles and responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end technical execution and coordination of packaging and labeling designs internally and with external partners.
This will involve:
- Technical setup of kit design and specific requirements from a P&L perspective including label design and the packaging/labeling process
- Packaging configuration and coordination of P&L requirements from a technical perspective internally and with external partners
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality packaging elements to the Clinical Supply Chain within the agreed upon timelines.
- Ensure the introduction of new compounds in the Packaging and Labelling area coordinating teams involved and facilitating the delivery to the patients.
- Be a core team member in CSC sub teams to have an E2E accountability on packaging and labelling of clinical kits
- Support the MST team and the wider organization with change management and non-conformance documentation
- Coordinate the implementation of a new pack design in the internal packaging environment.
- Coordinate the transfer of a pack design that will be new to an external partner.
- Support outsourcing P&L from a technical perspective when needed e.g. incident investigations, new equipment validations & qualifications, new packaging materials that are required.
- Be accountable for a successful introduction of a new pack design internally and externally.
- Coordinate or be part of the team that implements new equipment (internal or external) that is required for a new study or specific demand.
- Be involved or have a specific role in projects related to P&L activities and innovation
- Lead new initiatives in line with the Process Excellence Methodology to improve the packaging components (i.e. systems, design and machinability) and process to optimize quality, compliance and the timely delivery.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SAP?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Minimum of bachelor's scientific degree or engineering
- Master is highly preferable
- Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken
- Knowledge of Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project) and Acrobat
- Project management skills
- Experience with production equipment
- Technical knowledge of packaging designs & materials
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of Trackwise (Quality Event and CAPA management)
