Lead / Senior Retail Data Analyst

• Translate complex business challenges into clear analytical solutions, KPIs, and measurable frameworks that support company objectives.
• Drive and influence strategic decision-making by delivering clear, data-driven insights and compelling data storytelling to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advise the business on data analysis opportunities, define and optimize key business KPIs, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Align analytical requirements with corporate goals and data management best practices, while considering technical constraints.
• Design and maintain scalable dashboards, reporting systems, and BI solutions in a fast-paced retail and field-force environment.
• Lead end-to-end analytics workflows, including data extraction, ETL processes, data validation, and advanced data modeling.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to develop and optimize reliable and scalable data pipelines and data warehouse structures.
• Define best practices for analytics, reporting, visualization, and data quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency across all outputs.
• Mentor and support junior analysts through coaching, knowledge sharing, and structured skill development.
• Review analytical work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Contribute to team growth by participating in hiring processes, interviews, and onboarding of new team members.

Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Minimum 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.

• Proven experience mentoring or leading analytics teams.
• Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-changing environments with evolving business needs.
• Experience building and maintaining BI dashboards, such as Tableau dashboards or Excel reports.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Python and Snowflake for data analysis, automation, and ETL workflows.
• Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; experience in the Retail or Agency sector is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required; fluency in German is a plus.
