Job description
As a UX Designer on the NavVis IVION Product Team, you will shape how customers worldwide navigate, analyze, and collaborate within digital twins of real-world spaces. From 3D point cloud visualizations to complex workflow tools, you will design experiences that transform spatial data into intuitive solutions for real-world problems.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX teammates in an agile environment. Your research and design decisions will directly influence how customers understand and manage complex physical environments, and you will see that impact reflected in a product used around the world., * Own end-to-end UX design for features within NavVis IVION, taking work from discovery and ideation through prototyping, validation, and high-fidelity UI design
- Guide user research activities (interviews, usability testing, concept validation) to uncover customer needs, validate solutions, and inform product decisions across the team
- Translate user insights and business requirements into clear user flows, interaction concepts, and design solutions.
- Advocate for the end user in every product discussion, bringing research findings and usability insights to teams across the company
- Proactively identify UX improvements by continuously discovering usability issues, quality problems, and shortfalls against competitor products
- Contribute to the NavVis design system by evolving shared components, patterns, and guidelines that raise quality.
- Play an active role in the NavVis UX Guild, contributing to methodology, research standards, cross-team UX alignment, and AI's role in design and UI workflows
Requirements
Do you have experience in Visual design?, * 2 to 3 years of professional experience in UX or product design, showing end-to-end design work
- Demonstrated expertise in user research methods (interviews, usability testing, concept validation)
- Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, research repository such as Condens
- A solid understanding of usability principles and user-centered design, with strong visual design sense and attention to detail
- Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools in the design process to improve efficiency and exploration
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions, incorporate feedback, and collaborate effectively in English
Nice to have:
- Experience designing for mobile applications
- Experience in 3D visualisations
- Background in B2B or enterprise software environments
- Academic background in interaction design, human-computer interaction, media informatics, or a related field
