Job description
A Field IT Support Technician provides on-site technical support to clients or company locations. They install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, software, networks, and related IT equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, customer service abilities, and the flexibility to travel to various work sites., * Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and network equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and repair services at customer locations.
- Set up and support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, email systems, and business applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks.
- Install, terminate, and test network cabling when required.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.
- Document service activities, work orders, and technical solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service and end-user training.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or specialized support teams.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment, tools, and replacement parts.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and best practices.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Productivity software support?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of IT support or help desk experience.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 50 lbs).
