Job description
We are seeking a hands-on IT Network Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure and internal systems. This role will support daily operations, assist employees with technical issues, and maintain the stability and security of our network and business-critical applications.
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Start the day by reviewing emails and voicemails for internal service requests
- Participate in IT team meetings to discuss policy updates, project planning, or budgeting
- Respond to service requests via email, phone, or in-person, resolving hardware/software issues
- For more complex issues, troubleshoot directly with users by visiting departments, performing diagnostics, and running tests
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized services or project support
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including:
- Firewalls
- Site-to-site VPN connections between multiple locations
- VOIP phone systems (Call Manager)
- Configure and monitor data backups and disaster recovery solutions
- Maintain and support key business applications, including CRM and ERP systems
- Perform new user setup in Active Directory
- Configure new VOIP phones and support telephony-related requests
- Deploy new computers and servers, and maintain existing hardware
- Set up remote users and ensure secure remote access capabilities
- Assist in vendor negotiations and manage IT-related projects and purchases
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT/network administration or similar role
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with firewalls, VOIP systems, and multi-site connectivity
- Proficiency in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Office 365
- Experience managing and supporting ERP and CRM systems
- Ability to install, configure, and support desktop and server hardware
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and time-management skills
- IT certifications (e.g., Network+, CCNA, MCSA/MCSE) preferred but not required
