Senior Functional Analyst / Project Lead - Digital Transformation JP054549

We are looking for an experienced Senior Functional Analyst with strong project leadership capabilities to support the digital transformation of a public-sector application for a Belgian social security organisation. The role focuses on modernising a citizen-facing digital platform, evolving it from a mainly consultative application into an interactive self-service platform. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and external partners. This is an opportunity for a senior professional who can combine functional analysis, project coordination, stakeholder management, and technical understanding to take ownership of a critical application domain., Functional Analysis & Solution Design Translate business needs into functional analyses and solution proposals Design and document new digital functionalities, including:

• Self-service workflows
• Request/application processes
• Communication modules

Create and maintain:

• User stories
• Use cases
• Process descriptions
• Data models
• Functional documentation

Ensure consistency, scalability, and reusability across the application landscape Business & IT Integration Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams Collaborate with solution architects and development teams Define and analyse:

• Interfaces
• APIs
• Data flows
• System integrations

Project Leadership Manage planning, scope, priorities, and deliverables Coordinate development activities within an Agile team Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and reporting Act as the main point of contact for ICT teams, business users, and external partners Quality Assurance & Testing Support and coordinate testing activities:

• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Define test scenarios and validation approaches Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation

Minimum 10 years of experience as a Functional Analyst within web application environments Minimum 10 years of project management experience, preferably in Agile environments Minimum 10 years of experience coordinating teams and managing stakeholders Proven experience acting as a bridge between business and IT Strong experience with integrated systems and complex data flows Good understanding of software development processes Experience with:

• APIs
• System integrations
• Data exchanges

Knowledge of the Java ecosystem is considered an advantage Technical Environment:

• Java backend applications
• Angular frontend applications
• API-first architecture
• External system integrations
• eID authentication

Language Requirements: Native-level Dutch or Native-level French Active knowledge of the other national language Professional English communication skills
