Job description
- Project Manage the SAP Carve out scheduled for end of March, 2024.
- Plan and manage execution of the Day One cutover plan for all IT workstreams
Overview of Responsibilities:

Project Management Planning for the SAP Carve out and its ecosystem:
-
Coordinate weekly planning sessions
-
Follow-up on open action items, risks and issues
-
Escalate issues to overall program management
-
Update weekly status report for the overall separation program
-
Update project plan to include any new/changed integration points/changes within the environment
-
SAP Ecosystem includes but not limited to Windchill, OpenText, SAP PI, SAP APO, SAP BW, SAP MII
-
Review/update ramp down/ramp up activities with all teams, confirming timing, contact points, dependencies, tasks etc.

Develop communication plan including system downtime

Facilitate any change control activities required

Coordinate with third-party vendor on the SAP carve out

Testing coordination
-
Identify Testers and ensure availability

Work with the testers to compile the test plan and ensure test scenarios are ready
-
Ensure the test plan is executed and rework completed as required

Cutover coordination
-
Develop go/no go deck and schedule go/no go meeting

Document risk and mitigation plans (part of go/no go deck)

Create the cutover plan
-
Facilitate the cutover execution, coordinating amongst team members, confirming order of tasks, completion of tasks

Update and send out cutover related communications

Hypercare after upgrade

Participate in daily hyper care meetings and follow up on action items
Requirements
- Significant experience in SAP Project Management including test/cutover coordination
- Understanding of M&A (Separation) requirements and sensitivities
- Strong communication skills and ability to present to business colleagues
- Technical ability to seek and understand technical dependencies, drive/facilitate discussions regarding risks.
