Job description
Insight Global is seeking a Viewpoint Vista Solutions Architect for a permanent opportunity on-site supporting an enterprise Applications Manager and cross-functional business teams. This role will serve as the senior technical and functional owner of the Viewpoint Vista platform, driving architecture, governance, and continuous improvement across the organization. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role responsible for defining the Vista roadmap, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring the platform is scalable, integrated, and aligned with business operations-especially across Finance, Payroll, Equipment, and Project Management. The Architect will also play a key role in supporting business transformation initiatives, including M&A activity and field enablement through Vista Web. This individual will partner closely with internal stakeholders and vendors while leading upgrades, integrations, and system optimization efforts. This is a true SME role where the candidate will act as the go-to expert for all Vista-related decisions and performance. PR $150,000-$175,000 annually.
Requirements
8+ years of ERP experience with strong Viewpoint Vista expertise
- Deep knowledge of core Vista modules (GL, AP/AR, Job Cost, Payroll, Equipment, PM)
- Experience owning Vista architecture, roadmap, and governance
- Hands-on experience with Vista Web (deployment, optimization, field adoption)
- Strong SQL + reporting (Crystal Reports)
- Experience with integrations/APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Proven experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or conversions
- Strong understanding of construction processes + accounting workflows
- Ability to troubleshoot/customize Vista + work cross-functionally with business teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with M&A/system integrations or consolidations
- Exposure to ITIL, SOX, or governance frameworks
- Experience mentoring or leading teams
- Vendor management / working with implementation partners
- Strong documentation, training, or audit support experience
- Great communication and collaboration experience
