Job description
**Must have product design experience involving hydraulic components or hydraulic systems, * Lead the design and development of new aircraft hydraulic products for various aerospace applications.

Develop conceptual designs from customer specifications to support proposal and new business opportunities.

Assume full technical responsibility for assigned new product development projects from concept through production release.

Prepare and deliver all engineering drawings, documents, specifications, and related technical data required for production readiness.

Perform engineering analyses including tolerance studies, structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), hydraulic analysis, and dynamic analysis.

Develop qualification test plans, procedures, and supporting documentation for product validation efforts.

Serve as the primary technical interface with customers for both new and existing product lines.

Provide technical support and guidance to assigned business units throughout the product lifecycle.

Coordinate engineering efforts associated with transitioning new products into production.

Support manufacturing, quality, and operations teams in resolving technical issues and improving product performance.

Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and department personnel.

Support qualification testing activities and analyze test results to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Investigate and resolve fielded product issues through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project schedules, cost objectives, and company productivity goals.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.

Minimum of 8 years of product design experience involving hydraulic components, hydraulic systems.

Strong analytical background with experience performing engineering calculations and technical evaluations.

Experience with structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), hydraulic analysis, and tolerance stack-up studies.

Proven experience leading new product development projects from concept through production.

Ability to interpret customer specifications and develop practical engineering solutions.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience interfacing directly with customers.

Experience supporting qualification testing and product certification efforts.

Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within project teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

Aerospace or aircraft hydraulic system experience.

Experience supporting FAA, military, or aerospace qualification requirements.

Familiarity with configuration management and engineering change processes.
-
Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions:
