We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud & Cyber Security Program Protection Specialist to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud and cyber security, as well as experience in program protection and risk management. This highly visible position serves as a trusted security advisor responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies that protect classified, controlled unclassified, and proprietary information from concept development through operational transition. The successful candidate will work closely with research teams, engineering organizations, intelligence partners, and government stakeholders to identify security risks, assess vulnerabilities, establish classification guidance, and implement program protection strategies that safeguard mission-critical technologies.
This role requires a strategic security professional with extensive experience in Program Protection Planning (PPP), Research & Technology Protection (RTP), Information Security, Counterintelligence awareness, and Risk Management wiithin highly classified government environments.

Develop and implement cloud and cyber security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems

Monitor and assess the organization's cloud and cyber security posture, identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies

Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical data and systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud-based solutions and services

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud and cyber security, and make recommendations for continuous improvement - Provide training and support to employees on security awareness and best practices

Participate in incident response and resolution efforts, including conducting forensic investigations and implementing remediation plans.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Trade compliance?, Do you have a Master's degree in cybersecurity?, Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Engineering, Intelligence Studies, Security Management, or a related discipline

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience supporting Information Security, Program Protection, Research Security, or National Security programs

Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and implementing security programs supporting Research & Development organizations
Preferred Qualifications Master's or Ph.D. in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Engineering, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, National Security, or related field

Experience supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)

Experience supporting Intelligence Community research organizations

Experience protecting emerging cloud technologies and advanced cyber capabilities

Experience supporting security compliance within Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) organizations

Ability to prepare technical security documentation, assessments, reports, and executive briefings

Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills

Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, engineers, researchers, intelligence professionals, and government customers
Working Knowledge of:
