Network Administrator

Growing company in Nashville is in need of a Senior Network Administrator to join their team. This position will report directly to the Network Manager in the IT Department.

Responsibilities for this role are as follows:

• Implementation and maintenance of all route/switch and load-balancing equipment through the entire equipment lifecycle.
• Expert level in troubleshooting and maintaining all Cisco switches, routers and wireless controllers.
• Expert level in troubleshooting and maintaining all F5 LTM load balancers.
• Experience managing Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls
• Experience maintaining service contracts on equipment and working with Cisco SMARTNET to ensure all agreements are current.

• 10+ years expert-level experience with route/switch, firewalls, WLCs, QoS, VoIP, and load balancers
• Experience with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and troubleshooting related issues on a complex and highly secured network.
• Must be able to perform after-hour and weekend work as needed in a 24x7 environment.
• Must be able to lift equipment and rack/stack as needed.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable Skills are as follows:

• CCNA certification or higher preferred.
• Experience managing server operating systems such as Windows and Linux Experience managing SAN/NAS architectures.
• Experience managing Blade server technologies and server hardware
• Experience managing virtualized environments such as VMWare
• Experience with MS PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation and remote server management.
• Working with VoIP systems and OEMs to ensure the highest level of standards for our collaboration systems.
